What restaurants should I go to near my UCF apartment?

UCF and Orlando in general has plenty of great restaurants for UCF apartment owners. The UCF area is filled to the brim with a broad range of choices and prices. What you want shouldn't be too hard to find. Below I have provided just three of my favorites in the UCF apartment area. One cheap and easy, one more upscale, and the last a unique restaurant that shouldn't be missed.

If you are a UCF apartment owner and are looking for an affordable lunch or dinner that still fills you up, head on over to Lazy Moon Pizza. Lazy Moon Pizza is the super popular UCF pizza place that serves gigantic slices of pizza for a fair price. Go here if you are looking to satisfy both your taste buds and your wallet, just be ready to jostle for a spot amongst the huge college crowd. They have plenty of interesting pizza names like: Treehugger, El Fidel and Jason's Mom's Slice. This UCF pizza place also gives you free reign to come up with your own combination of proteins, veggies, fruits, cheeses and dipping sauces to create your own unique and delicious pizza. Don't forget to also try the chili. It is a surprise hit.

If a UCF apartment owner is looking for something a bit more elaborate, try heading out a ways from UCF to Texas de Brazil. This restaurant may be somewhat pricey at $50 per person, but it is totally worth it if you are UCF apartment owner looking to fill up on churrascaria-style piles of magnificently cooked meats. All the meats are cooked on a South American rotisserie-style over an open flame in huge quantities. The result is an all-you-can-eat type of meal where waiters and waitresses pass around huge servings of food until you can't hold anymore. Expect tons of different protein options all cooked to barbecued perfection. But don't forget to visit the huge salad bar that is overflowing with options.

UCF apartment owners should not miss the Winter Park restaurant The Ravenous Pig. The Ravenous Pig is a very well known establishment that has gained recognition from Food and Wine magazine, the James Beard Foundation and the Orlando Sentinel.  UCF apartment owners should definitely make the trip to Winter Park to see chefs and owners James and Julie Petrakis whip up great dishes like: WIld King Salmon, Pork Porterhouse, Steak Frites, Beef Cheek Pastrami and Florida Cobia. The interior of the restaurant is also something to marvel over. The cozy space is lined with red brick walls and highlighted by candle lit table tops. A great place for UCF residents to leave their apartments behind have a night out in Winter Park.
