Boardwalk is located less than a mile from UCF with shuttle service to campus.

Everyone has to eat. Knowing where the closest grocery stores are is a must for everyone looking to move into a UCF area apartment. For when the time comes for when you need to stock your pantry and fridge with food, this article will help you find the closest place to get it done. Thankfully for everyone living in a UCF apartment, there are plenty of choices for grocery stores. Below are a few of the best around your UCF apartment.

For all you Southerners that want to live in a UCF apartment, you will be happy to find out that there is a Publix grocery store right across the street from the UCF campus. For everyone not from the South, Publix is a dominant grocery store franchise that runs throughout the Southeastern United States. It is arguably one of the best places around to get all the groceries you need in a clean and super-friendly environment. The Publix near UCF and the surrounding apartments is at the corner of McCulloch Road and North Alafaya Trail in the University of Palms Shopping Center. This Publix, like most, comes equipped with a deli and bakery. While you are there, don't miss the chance to grab a sub at the deli.

Another option for grocery-seeking UCF apartment owners is Winn-Dixie. If you are moving to an apartment to the south side of the UCF campus, Winn-Dixie is the place for you. This store is located on East Colonial Drive at the Bridgewater Marketplace. This is at the intersection of East Colonial Drive and Lake Pickett Road. For UCF apartment owners, Winn-Dixie provides another solid choice for grocery shopping. This grocery store is usually a bit cheaper than Publix, but not quite as nice, in my opinion. Expect rows and rows of aisles with everything you could possible imagine to fill your fridge with everything you need to cook at home.

My final grocery store suggestion for UCF apartment owners is the Eastside Asian Market also located in the Bridgewater Marketplace on East Colonial Drive. The Eastside Asian Market offers a wide variety of Asian-focused produce and groceries. If you are looking to cook up a little something different at home, this is the place to go. The Eastside Asian Market offers UCF area apartment owners a vast selection of Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean and Thai foods. This market also offers a Vegetarian Cafe and a section filled to the brim with all kinds of fresh produce. The Eastside Asian Market self proclaims itself as "Orlando's best kept secret." Happy shopping!
