Orlando Apartment Advice

Live Like a Star in an Orlando Apartment...

Is it possible to live the life of a celebrity on a budget?

When you make the move to an Orlando apartment, you will find yourself in good company. There are many celebrities who call Orlando home. They don’t all live in Orlando apartments, but some do. So you’ll find yourself in good company.

Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync fame lives in Orlando. Fatone is a singer, dancer, actor and TV personality. He is best known for his time as a member of the boy band, ‘N Sync but recently appeared on Dancing with the Stars. Fatone came in second place on the ABC show. And he has also recently been seen as the host of the NBC show, “The Singing Bee.” While Fatone was born in Brooklyn, New York, he and his family made the move to Orlando when he was 13 years old. Fatone attended Dr. Phillips High School which is nearby many Orlando apartments.

Chris Kirkpatrick also lived in Orlando. Kirkpatrick sang with Fatone as a member of ‘N Sync. Kirkpatrick attended high school in Ohio but he moved to into a student apartment community in Orlando to attend Rollins College and perform at Universal Studios. Kirkpatrick found fame as a member of the boy band ‘N Sync. The band was formed in Orlando in 1995. The group’s second album, “No Strings Attached” sold over one million copies in one day and 2.42 million copies in one week.

But the Orlando apartment community isn’t just home to singers, it’s also home to famous athletes. One of the most famous Orlando residents is Shaquille O’Neal. Better known as “Shaq”, this NBA player splits his time between Orlando and Miami. Shaq certainly doesn’t live in an Orlando apartment, but he does own a large home in the area. Shaq’s Orlando mansion is said to have a movie theater inside with two rows of retractable chairs, and superman symbols throughout. His Orlando home also features an indoor basketball court. But don’t worry, some Orlando apartments have indoor basketball courts too! The 7ft. 1in. tall center was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the first overall pick of the 1992 NBA Draft. He fell in love with the area and has maintained his residence in Orlando despite moves to multiple teams. Shaq currently plays for the Boston Celtics.

Baseball player, Barry Larkin also lives in Orlando. He played shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds from 1986 to 2004 and won a World Series in 1990. Larkin retired in 2004 and now lives in Orlando.

And perhaps the most famous Orlando resident is Tiger Woods. The golf legend owns two properties on the Butler Chain of Lakes in Isleworth. One is a golf villa which is similar to a luxury Orlando apartment in that it has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. But his main residence is on Lake Isleworth with 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 3 stories and 6,692 square feet. The home is said to be worth upwards of $2.6 million dollars. However, due to his recent divorce, Woods is reportedly giving his Orlando home to Elin Nordegren as part of the settlement. Perhaps Tiger will have to look for an Orlando apartment after all.

If you want to join the stars and athletes in Orlando, but you can’t quite afford one of these multi-million dollar mansions, you may want to search for an Orlando apartment instead.
