In general, Winter Park is a pretty safe area of Orlando with little crime, and there aren’t really any specific areas of Winter Park that are considered safer than others. However, “pretty safe” doesn’t mean 100% safe, and it never will. And for valid liability reasons, you will be hard pressed to find an apartment that will guarantee your safety. Your best bet is to use your head… you’ve been raised for 18+ years and taught how to be safe. Make sure that when you head off to school at Full Sail, you don’t lose your common sense. You might want to also seek out advice from local police and other safety experts.
