Living in an Orlando apartment gives you the opportunity to live in one of the best cities in America. Orlando has so much to offer its residents. And apartment living in Orlando gives residents the chance to experience it all.

Orlando is probably best known for its theme parks. The city is home to the Walt Disney World parks and many others. Walt Disney World alone has four theme parks, two water parks, 32 resort hotels, five golf courses, two full-service spas and the Downtown Disney complex. Technically, Walt Disney World is 20 miles southwest of Orlando in Lake Buena Vista.

Orlando is also home to Universal and Sea World theme parks. There are many Orlando apartments nearby. Aside from Universal Studios, the Universal complex also includes Islands of Adventure. And Sea World is nearby as well as their new water park, Aquatica.

If you're not into theme parks, there are still many reasons to choose an Orlando apartment. The city offers easy access to the Kennedy Space Center as well as Florida's beaches. And because Orlando is a tourist destination, there are tons of fun things to do. The city is home to top animal and zoo attractions, several go kart tracks and mini-golf courses as well as dinner shows and theater.

Many of the local theatrical performances are closer to apartments in downtown Orlando. But you can find entertainment throughout the city. Orlando is host to many concerts, plays, symphony orchestras, ballets and comedy shows. Cirque du Soleil also has a standing show called "La Nouba." If you're more into country western entertainment, you can check out the Silver Spurs Rodeo on Osceola Heritage Park.

There are also many Orlando apartments nearby beautiful museums, parks and gardens. Orlando is well known for its museums such as the Albin Polasek Museum, the Mennello museum of American Art, the Maitland Art Center, the Maitland Historical Society Museums, the Morse Museum of American Art, and the Orlando Museum of Art. If you have children living in your Orlando apartment, you will want to check out the Orlando Science Center.

Just because you choose to live in an apartment in Orlando doesn't mean you aren't close to many other Florida attractions. For example, you can venture out of your Central Florida apartment and head to Key West, Mount Dora, Ponce Inlet, Amelia Island or any one of Florida's beaches.

And if you're able to find an affordable Orlando apartment, you will have money left over to spend at one of Orlando's shopping malls. Orlando has several outlet malls including the Prime Outlets International and the Premium outlets. There are also several traditional malls such as the Mall at Millenia, Orlando Fashion Square, The Florida Mall, and Festival Bay Mall.
