Cameron Davis is a senior at Florida State University, studying Marketing with a minor in Commercial Entrepreneurship. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Cameron moved to experience a new city and a new environment. She believes in trying something new in every chance she gets, and Florida's warm and sunny climate was certainly tempting. She was attracted to FSU because of its notable sports teams and zealous school spirit. After touring the campus, she fell in love with its beauty and immediately saw herself walking down its palm tree-lined sidewalks. Above all else, Cameron admired the outstanding reputation of the FSU Business School and knew a degree at Florida State University would open many doors in the future.
Cameron loves staying as involved as she can. Extracurricular activities include working on the digital team for Strike Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle publication affiliated with FSU. She finds it to be a great outlet for her creativity. Cameron's passion for helping others led her to participate in Dance Marathon, raising money and nurturing hope for a brighter tomorrow. She found it to be an extremely rewarding experience, lighting a fire in her heart to pursue other volunteer opportunities. Because she is an out-of-state student, Cameron joined Greek Life as a way to meet new people and make forever friends. She rushed Pi Phi where she fully embodies their mission of cultivating intellect, integrity, and leadership.
Cameron's hobbies include running or hiking trails, being outdoors, exploring new places and restaurants, and traveling. With her friends, she enjoys day trips to the beach to lounge and relax in the sun. Her passion for new experiences often leads her on road trips to new cities. She loved working as a nanny before completing an internship in sales. The internship honed her communication skills and made her realize her passion for collaboration. She is excited about marketing for its creative allowances and hopes to learn more about the social media side of things. She's excited to work closely with brands and help them express their personal messages.
Cameron has lived in an off-campus apartment for two years and enjoys the private bedroom and bathroom that come with it, as well as the ease of a pre-furnished room. After apartment life, she moved to a townhouse. She enjoys the homier feel and likes personalizing it to her preferences, especially her balcony, where she can be found relaxing and enjoying her morning coffee. She prioritizes amenities like pool and gym access when searching for a new place to call home. She loves to stay active and takes advantage of these amenities daily. Roommates can be challenging, but Cameron's have become some of her closest friends. They met through Greek Life and she has loved living life with them. After life at FSU, she hopes to move to New York City and find an apartment where she can enjoy a private bedroom and a new city view. Her experience in off-campus housing has allowed her to realize her preferences and use them to pursue her next great adventure.
