Although small, there is plenty to do in College Park. College Park is also home to the Historic Dubsdread Golf Course. Lake Ivanhoe and Lake Silver are popular spots for boating, water sports, and swimming.

Traffic congestion in College Park is a rare occurrence. Main roads in College Park include Edgewater Drive, Princeton, Westmoreland Avenue, Par Avenue, and Maury Drive. Several of the main roads run parallel, so if there happens to be a traffic jam, an alternate route is readily available. Parking in College Park is usually never a problem. There is plentiful street parking for apartments, and most businesses have large parking lots that easily accommodate their customers. The commute to downtown Orlando from College Park takes only about 5 minutes, either through back roads, or on I-4, and there are plenty of entrance ramps which allow for quick access.
