In the past 10 or so years, many stores have been added to this small town. Some of the stores new to Clermont including Wal-Mart, Super Target, BJ's Wholesale, K-Mart and Kohl’s, as well as many smaller establishments. In spring of 2010 Clermont Landings opened with 20 new shops and restaurants and the first cinema. There are no major malls in Clermont, but a short drive to Orlando can offer even more great places to shop, including the Mall at Millennia and the Florida Mall.

Traffic And Driving In Clermont

There are two major roads running through Clermont. State Road 50 and Highway 27 cross right in the middle of Clermont. Clermont is only about 10 miles from Winter Garden and about 30 miles from Orlando. Allowing you to drive to Orlando and area attractions in about 30 minutes.  Common routes to these areas include the FL Turnpike and the East-West Expressway. The best mode of transportation when navigating Clermont is by car. There is no bus system in Clermont.
