Congrats on being accepted to the University of Central Florida! Along with the excitement of your new venture and searching for apartments near UCF, you may be hit with the realization that you will need transportation to get around your new school and city. These high-speed train runs throughout Orlando and serves multiple stops and boroughs, including Orange, Seminole and Volusia counties. Avoiding the congestion of Orlando highways, especially Interstate 4, is another great perk to using the SunRail.
The simplest option to getting around without a vehicle? The tried and true concept of walking! Many students choose to get their feet moving due to the close proximity of apartments near UCF. There are so many communities that are within walking distance to campus, so grab your best pair of sneakers and get a workout in each day! You could also purchase a bicycle, which will help your shorten your commute to campus. Just make sure you practice safety when walking or biking to campus. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing a helmet on a bike, not walking alone after dark and watching for vehicles on the road.
