A studio, or sometimes called a flat or efficiency, is basically a very simplified one bedroom apartment. The living room, bedroom, and kitchen are combined into one area. A studio can basically be thought of as a one bedroom with the walls taken out. A studio will still have a bathroom, however, the kitchen is usually very small.
