Little Econ Greenway
This park is best known for its multipurpose recreational trail containing a 14-foot wide paved surface to be enjoyed by anyone, walkers, jokers, hikers, and skaters alike. Along the way, you will find natural wildlife habitats to see a variety of native animals to take pictures of and talk about as well. If you're more into a hands-on activity, there are riverside recreational areas for fishing, picnicking, and canoeing. While canoeing down the river, maybe you'll see some native birds fly past or see some cute dogs with their owners strolling by on the trail. Stroll through the park with friends looking for local wildlife to see on the available trails. Afterward, you can get your workout while playing volleyball or tennis with your peers! If you want to take it slow, go for a calming nature walk around the park to clear your mind. This place is a must-see and is fortunately very close to the UCF Campus. East Orange Neighborhood Park
This park has some fun activities for UCF students to enjoy. With its baseball fields, basketball courts, and picnic area, this is a great park to go to if you are looking for something new. Located at 12080 East Colonial Drive, East Orange Neighborhood Park is only a few minutes away from the off-campus apartments near UCF campus. Take your time hanging out at the picnic tables with your significant other or a close friend. Or play some basketball with college friends and get your exercise in for the beach body you've been wanting to get before summer break begins. And if you're interested in playing on the baseball fields, whether that be to play traditional baseball or possibly a game of kickball, those fields are right there for your needs.
