I love my new Orlando apartment, but I want to get outside, see some nature, and get some exercise! What should I do? Where should I go?

Arden Villas has a gym for working out.

Looking to escape the concrete jungle? No problem! There are plenty of options for getting out and away. For those living downtown, Lake Eola Park makes a great everyday destination to jog or walk their dog. If you work downtown, you can even get your jogging on during your lunch break. Lake Eola Park features a nice trail around scenic Lake Eola with plenty of trees and grass in its outdoor expanse. There are always people just lounging out and relaxing, or tossing Frisbees during the warm afternoons. There are plenty of jogging and biking trails too, such as the Little Econ Trail, the West Orange Trail, the Cross Seminole Trail, and several others. If you’re looking to get real out there, check out the Wekiva State Forest, a little bit north of Orlando. Wekiva State Park offers plenty of jogging, biking, hiking, and canoeing in its tranquil forest lands and central Florida palmetto scrublands. There are plenty of other options, too numerous to list here!
