Do any of the amusement parks near my Orlando apartment feature holiday celebrations?

There is no shortage of amazing holiday events in the Orlando area. With some of the best theme parks in the world, destinations such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios afford local residents some of the best holiday fun right in their own backyards. Here is a list of some of the best holiday events near Orlando apartments to help you celebrate!

Walt Disney World

For those of you who live near Disney World or in the Kissimmee area, you don't have to travel far from your Orlando apartment to immerse yourself in the spirit of the holidays. Disney World features countless festivities across all four theme parks throughout the holiday season.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

- Select Nights, Nov. 8, 2022 – Dec. 22, 2022

With Magic Kingdom as the venue, it's inevitable that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is probably the one thing you can't afford to miss this holiday season. Open to all-ages, this celebration is co-hosted by Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus, and it also features more than a dozen beloved Disney Characters decked out in their holiday best, plus unforgettable entertainment.

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

- Nov. 25, 2022 – Dec. 30, 2022

Calling all foodies! Included with admission to Epcot, this food-focused event glitters with music and entertainment, including the signature Candlelight Processional. Taking place three times nightly, the heartwarming presentation features a 50-piece orchestra, a full choir and celebrity narrators, but you'll have to attend to find out who. Epcot's event also hosts 13 Holiday Kitchens and additional food-and-beverage kiosks, 25 total, where you can enjoy an array of festive bites and sips from around the world.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

- Nov. 11, 2022 – Jan. 5, 2023

Enjoy Pinterest-worthy holiday décor at Toy Story Land as your waltz your way through Hollywood Studios. With music and fireworks to immerse you in scenes from Mickey's Christmas Carol, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, and other classics, this deserves to be celebrated for two months straight.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

- Nov. 11, 2022 – Jan. 5, 2023

If you and your friends or family are wanting to start a new holiday tradition this year, there's no better time to start than now. Animal Kingdom's first-ever holiday celebration is included with admission. Guests can expect to arrive at a winter wonderland at Discovery Island, India's Diwali in Asia. Throughout the park, pose for festive holiday photos with some of your favorite Disney Characters. Then, end each night with a new series of wintry tales complemented by heartwarming music at Tree of Life Awakenings. *cue The Lion King's Circle of Life*

Universal Studios Orlando

Living in Central Orlando apartments enable residents to be in the heart of the city, but it also means they're just minutes away from Universal Studios. Featuring Harry Potter, The Grinch and a world-famous holiday parade, Universal has many events and celebrations worth checking out this holiday season taking place from Nov. 12, 2022 – Jan. 1, 2023.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Included with admission, this holiday party gives a magical makeover to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (don't worry, Butterbeer is still on the menu). The festivities include live performances, festive food and drinks for purchase and a stunning projection mapping experience for Hogwarts castle – if you're lucky, you can see this from your apartment in Orlando.

Universal Studios Florida

This is probably my favorite holiday event near Orlando apartments. Santa Claus, the Minions and other beloved characters for Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's are set to make a daily appearance, which is included with general park admission.

Universal's Islands of Adventure

The "mean one" himself takes over Seuss Landing for The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, complete with a live, musical stage show and the chance to meet The Grinch (if you're on the nice list).
