The Village at Science Drive Apartments is my first pick for a great apartment community with a security gate. UCF students will love The Village at Science Drive not only for the security, but also for its proximity to the UCF campus. Village at Science Drive is located just south of campus off Technology Parkway. UCF students can make a quick walk to and from class. Apartments at The Village at Science Drive are meant for groups of friends living together - they have three and four bedroom floor plans.
Another gated community near UCF is The Marquee. The Marquee is a very nice apartment community is nice in that it is not only secure, but also very new. So, all the apartments and community features still feel brand new. The Marquee has plenty of living options - one, two, three and four bedroom floor plans. This is great if you are looking to live with fellow UCF students, but don't know quite how many, yet. The Marquee Apartments is also great for UCF students due to the many great community features. Some of the highlights are: a 24-hour fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, tanning bed, business center, coffee bar, movie theater and a game room.
