There are not any on campus student housing areas. Where should I live?

Photo of Mission Bay ApartmentsMission Bay is near everything and in the center of Full Sail and UCF.

Oviedo Grove is a fantastic community just near I-4, shopping and dinning. The area surrounding Full Sail is surrounded with a great deal of attractions. Catering to nearly all walks of life, the city of Orlando adapts to all types of living styles.

Full Sail is nearly 7 miles away from the University of Central Florida, allowing their students to be in the center of a collegiate lifestyle. Full Sail is located in the Winter Park area of Orlando, which allows students to be in close range to many Orlando outlets, giving enrolled students the flexibility to settle in a wide range of apartments near Full Sail.

When looking for Full Sail apartments, preference for location plays a major role. Orlando has many districts that are well suited for students, tourist and young professionals. This city seeks out to meet the needs of nearly every individual.

Full Sail is nearly nine miles away from downtown Orlando. Downtown living may be more expensive then the outskirts of campus. However, the majority of UCF and Full Sail students tend to populate the area, which makes student housing in the downtown district much more attractive. Downtown draws many students to the area for more than just the lively and bustling streets. Despite the high rise buildings, modern and luxury living, and employment opportunity, downtown is the central location of entertainment.

In the Central Business downtown district, you will find more multi-cultured upscale bars and restaurants such as 23, Big Belly, Back Booth and the Pour House. Many students flock to this area to enjoy the district’s youthful yet mature nightlife. The Holden neighborhood, just outside of the central business neighborhood, has a blend of a college feel with metropolitan life. You can visit your laid back Hookah Bar or feel sophisticated at the Royal Palm.

If you are looking for a more affordable community that is within your student-built budget, you may want to stick closer to campus. The prominent school of Full Sail is nearly expensive enough. It is vital that you attempt to avoid financial instabilities and move into a budget-friendly community. Luckily for you, with the increasing popularity of Orlando schools in the area, it has been common for most properties to accommodate to a student’s needs. If you are looking to stay just a short distance from campus, try looking in the neighborhood of Avalon Park. This neighborhood is flooded with students and is a perfect place for students, young families, and pet-friendly lovers, making this area a tightly knit community. There are many condos, townhomes and apartments to rent or own. There are also handfuls of restaurants and businesses surrounded the area, allowing you the convenience to enjoy the best of college living.

You may want to consider living close to Disney in order to capture the best of Orlando. A great place to consider living may be near the College Park area. This neighborhood is right off of I-4, which provides you with an easy pathway to Walt Disney’s Park. Oviedo is another popular location that shares college territory with tourist attraction. If this area may seem fitting, keep in mind that Orlando’s premier outlet malls are also a short drive on I-4 from these neighborhoods. The two outlet malls contain the most popular stores such as Coach, Juicy Couture, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein and more! This area is a shopper’s dream!

Baldwin Park is another convenient neighborhood to consider when looking to rent a new place near school. This area is constructed with dozens upon dozens of living communities. From luxury living with urban amenities to humble homes, it is no wonder that Baldwin Park is another favorite among Full Sail students.

If you are desperately seeking to live the collegiate lifestyle, you may want to check out communities near Greek Park at UCF. Packed with over eleven fraternity and sorority houses, you will surely get your party fix in this area. Although some areas in Greek Park require you to attend the university, there are other apartments that do not adhere to this requirement. Look for a community near Alfaya Trail or Aquarius Agora Drive. Aside from being centered in college entertainment, this area has the added benefit of luxury upgrades due to just recently being built.

Moving to the Full Sail area provides its students with plenty of options when searching for a perfect place to call home. From downtown metropolitan villages to college quarters, there is surely a place for every individual.
