Many places will require a lease to be sign between 7 to 12 months. You may have the option of signing a lease for over 12 months. It is pretty rare to see leases shorter than 7 months due to laws and limitations of communities, however, we have seen some situations where a month by month option is available for residents after they have completed the terms of their lease.
