Full Sail apartments are surrounded by plenty of entertainment and attractions. Although there are dozens of housing options near campus, many communities are located outside of the school.
When searching for Full Sail apartments, proximity to campus may be highly preferred. Fortunately, since the campus is located in the center of town, many popular neighborhoods are a short drive away. For example, Downtown Orlando is only nine miles way from the academic institution. Most students attending the local colleges tend to take up residence in the downtown region due to its late night entertainment districts.
Further, Full Sail is located in Winter Park. Although just outside of Orlando, many students find that they more easily have access to downtown Orlando and the Disney theme parks. Additionally, Full Sail is roughly 7 miles away from its sister school, the University of Central Florida. This allows nearby students and residents to be in the center of an eccentric collegiate atmosphere. Even though there are not many Full Sail apartments directly located on campus, there are dozens of properties just outside of the school, near UCF. The upside of this is that many students attending the art school still get to enjoy student housing and accommodations.
If you are hoping to stay well within your student budget, it can definitely be beneficial to live near the college area. UCF is one of the largest colleges in the state of Florida, which makes it a safe bet when searching for budget friendly communities. In fact, many housing options available near this specific part of town is catered to the student tenant. There are many dormitory-like dwellings, offering shared housing plans and preselected roommates. Many of these communities also offer twenty-four hour business and fitness centers. Some properties even go so far as to offer their student residents resort style amenities including on site tanning beds, dog parks, pools with cabanas, and car wash stations. If you are seeking this type of life style, you may want to consider looking for dwellings near Greek Park, Alfaya Trail, or Baldwin Park.
Alternatively, downtown Orlando offers nearly the opposite of some of the housing options near class. Downtown Orlando can often be considered more upscale. However, there are plenty of affordable pads downtown. These properties, however, may have limited parking and can sometimes experience more traffic than the Winter Park neighborhoods. That said, this part of town is filled with interesting night life, restaurants and shopping.
Although there are not many apartment communities located on site at Full Sail, there are plenty of living options throughout town. These types of living arrangements can vary in terms of student housing to upscale living.
