Conway is only about ten minutes from downtown Orlando, which means that Conway apartment renters can enjoy the city-life, but still be able to go home to a more relaxed, homey neighborhood. Conway is also about equal distance from both the Florida Mall and the Fashion Square Mall. There are also several parks in Conway, including Barber Park and the Fort Gatlin Recreation Center.

The schools which serve Conway in southeast Orlando include Pershing Elementary School, Conway Elementary School, Lake Como Elementary School, Shenandoah Elementary School, Dover Shores Elementary, Ventura Elementary, Blankner K-8 School, Conway Middle School, Passport Charter School, Stonewall Jackson Middle School, Colonial High School and Boone High School. All of these schools are located near the apartments in Conway.
The Conway Business Community
The business community of Conway consists mostly of strip-mall type shopping centers and small businesses. You’ll also find several doctors’ offices, grocery stores and restaurants located close to apartments in Conway.

While shopping in Conway is limited to strip-mall type shopping centers, any apartment in Conway would be in close proximity to the Florida Mall and the Fashion Square Mall… plus, your apartment would only be about a twenty minute drive to the Mall at Millenia. Being only about ten minutes from downtown Orlando also provides easy access from your apartment to all of the shopping and dining located there as well.
Traffic And Driving In Conway
Traffic and driving in Conway and southeast Orlando is usually pretty tame. Some major intersections in Conway include the corner of Conway Road and Hoffner Avenue, the corner of Conway Road and Curry Ford Road, the corner of Conway Road and Michigan Avenue, and Conway Road and Gatlin Avenue. Conway also has nearby access to the East-West Expressway (SR 408), the Orange County Expressway (SR 417), Interstate 4, and the BeachLine, formerly known as the Beeline (SR 528). Most people who live in Conway apartments probably commute to work in either downtown Orlando, the theme park areas, or to other more metropolitan areas of Orlando.
